    The best way to beat a fascist is to make fun of them. Biden droning on about the threat of Trump plays into his hands - it makes him look strong and scary. The way to get at him is making him look small and silly.

    Kamala’s campaign seem to have the right idea so far. Let’s hope she’s well-coached for the debate, because it’s going to be hugely important.

      I’m sure there are people who have said it before, but Lindsey Ellis did a great essay on mel Brooks, and the whole point of his comedy being “dude… People marching in synchro is just goofy”. The point being how damn fragile a facade is when there’s nothing behind it, and how much these kind of “strong men” depend on it.

      The whole “weird” thing was the perfect shot. The reason it works is because it’s also true “no man, you’re not to tough for me, you’re just… Fucking weird…”

        Maybe fascism on a macro scale then? A fascist on the micro scale, well, your approach may be great.
