        Admendments are a thing… just bribe 2/3 of each house and 3/4 of state legislatures… Or just do a coup

        That has never really been tested so there is no guarantee that a republican-held Supreme Court would find this interpretation of the constitution.

        That doesn’t make you ineligible. Ted Cruz was born in Canada but could and did run to be a presidential candidate. The rule is:

        Be a natural-born citizen of the United States

        That could mean that one or both of your parents are US citizens giving you a US citizenship at birth. It’s just one more reason the whole Obama birther thing was nonsense, his mom is a US citizen so it wouldn’t matter where he was born.

        That said, Elon also does not meet that requirement.

          It just means the citizen has to be born by natural means. So no artificial wombs.

      honestly, I bet he’d do really well in the running. I’m sure he’d be worse than trump if such a thing were possible
