Hot pockets are evil. Why can you eat an infinite amount of them and never feel full?

The fat from it is by and large high fructose corn syrup. Fat is the thing that when in our stomachs fat signals the brain to stop freaking eating by making us feel full. HFCS does not signal the stomach to tell the brain that is it full and to quit feeling hungry.

So like M&Ms it requires another signal from your digestive system to stop eating too many of them and it is explosive diarrhea.

I thought fat was completely different than sugar? As in different macronutrients?

But HFCS might not trigger the release of insulin the same way other sugars do.

It is. Fat and sugar are not the same thing. Hot pockets contain about 25 grams of fat and 10 grams of sugar. Depending on the product. The label does not indicate any HFCS but the effect described above would be achieved with any sugar and most sugar substitutes.

The majority of calories from hot pockets are from empty carbs, and that is what’s causing you to feel hungry after eating them. 72g of carbs to 43g of combined fat and protein, and only 2g of fiber.
