Don’t worry. The common meaning is friend. Everyone knows. Just like smol snek etc.

There are a lot of words that also have a bad meaning. A lot depends on context.

Lmao, by that logic you wouldnt be able to use any 3-5 letter words because every one of those probably has some acronym associated with it, that means something bad.

I don’t think Nazis are actively using every acronym, c’mon you know that’s silly.

          They use this one though.

It’s like saying 1844 isn’t a bad number, because numbers aren’t bad—unfortunately more often than not, when you see it, it’s not used innocently.

And context usually gives away whether something is being used innocently or not.

Don’t assign moral values to words or numbers. Those things are morally neutral. Look at how they’re being used and the context surrounding their use then use that to determine the morality of the individual using them on a case by case basis.

I didn’t come up with this, they did

I would love this to not be the case, but it’s just naïve to ignore the reality of the shitheads that are out there

Their whole thing is existing in the grey area between harmony and incongruity

I have literally never run into that until now. That seems like a dog whistle pitched so high, not even rodents can hear it.

Well I’m happy for you, but that doesn’t change that Nazis are using it as a dog whistle. And FWIW I’m unfortunate enough to know it’s not even a particularly niche one—it’s been pretty popular with edgelords for a few years now

I’ve just replied to you elsewhere, but dude

              This is not censorship

This is one regular person telling another regular person that they might accidentally be doing something racists do as a shibboleth
