The New York Giants are releasing the veteran quarterback on Friday, the team announced. Jones' release comes four days after head coach Brian Daboll announced his benching ahead of Week 12's game versus the Buccaneers.
The Daniel Jones era in New York is now officially over.
Any guesses as to who claims him? I’ll guess Dallas. With Prescott out Jones might be a better option than their current back up. And Jones would be super hyped to beat the Giants
He could also go take the starting role away from Minshew in LV, and the Panthers might be a cozy landing spot to walk on and start. Miami or the Jets could also use him as an upgrade at backup. If I were him, I wouldn’t want to be mixed in to the Colts QB controversy, but he might be thinking longer term after Flacco retires and Indianapolis releases/deals Richardson.

Dallas isn’t gonna spend a dime (or shouldn’t). They’re out of it for the year and want Dak back for next year
