Do people really use condoms once they’re in a committed relationship? I used condoms to prevent STI’s. For preventing babies, I just ask, pulled out, or buy plan b. We’ve been together close to a decade, and we’ve only had one pregnancy scare.

You guys can downvote me, but seriously, what’s the point? Again, I’m not talking about flings, I’m talking about committed relationships. The kind where you get tested together. I’m sorry if anyone is STRUGGLING to have a baby. I’m not trying to humble brag.

Edit: fuck you guys, I’m literally scheduled for a vasectomy. There’s no way I can get anyone pregnant. You guys are being judgmental ass holes. I will continue to satisfy my partner while not getting her pregnant. We’ll adopt in the future. Down vote me and cope.

Plan B will screw up a womans cycle and not all women are ok with using it. Pulling out obviously is not foolproof because any unprotected sex can run the risk of pregnancy. This is basic sex ed stuff. Obviously it’s worked for you and your partner so far but that’s a single case. One or both of you might have fertility issues or just be very lucky.

Anyone else reading this should NOT use the above comment as advice at all and read a sex ed book. Even condoms aren’t foolproof, but they’re safer than what you’re doing.

To bury the comment for the sake of people who were failed by the public school system and given a nonexistent or worse-than-nonexistent education on safe sex.

Your experience, while not shared maliciously, is an objectively terrible anecdote for effective birth control. If anyone takes that as gospel and follows in your footsteps, it’s going to ruin their life—especially if they don’t have access to emergency contraceptives or medical procedures to terminate a pregnancy.

If you’re not actively trying to have a baby, condoms are one of the most effective technologies to prevent pregnancy. I’ve used them plenty in a committed relationship, after four wanted kids, I got sniped, we avoided ovarian side solutions because of health problems that get really complicated and dangerous with birth control pills, or getting tube’s tied,

I agree, but condoms cost money. I can’t even feel anything, and she likes the feeling. I’m getting a vasectomy and adopting. You guys can fuck off.

Edit: If you don’t want to get fixed and adopt, you’re a narcissist. Down vote, and think about it later.

Edit 2: You guys are acting anti- prochoice. Fuck off.
