The game is regularly crashing and taking my whole PC down with it.

I’m using kbm. And it only happens with Rocket League. Within hours of others saying the same.
If it’s hardware, it’s gotta be something related to a recent patch or Nvidia driver.
You could then try to run DDU and reinstall the driver
