Senator is a tough job. She can probably do better in something else, like a Cabinet post.
You’re right, she probably could grift better in something else like a cabinet post. Senators don’t get nearly the same opportunities for corruption.
Also, the Cabinet posts come with a built-in ‘deep state’ of professionals who do most of the actual work.
