Summary

Democrats are ramping up opposition to Trump and Musk’s brazen assault on the federal government, which critics see as a constitutional crisis.

Protests erupted after Musk’s DOGE accessed taxpayer data, prompting Democratic lawmakers to pledge stronger resistance.

Senate Democrats staged an all-night protest against budget chief Russell Vought, while some senators vowed to block Trump’s nominees. Hakeem Jeffries introduced legislation to curb DOGE, as activists push for McConnell-style obstruction.

Nationwide protests and lawsuits signal a revived anti-Trump resistance.

Growing grassroots engagement and local officials taking steps to counter Trump’s agenda reflect intensifying opposition.

Leftists do jack shit. It’s the truth. Hence there being no credible leftist platform or anything else.

If that were true, maybe leftists would be in power. But theyre not.

        By design.

The duopoly has been spreading anti worker (i.e. anti-left) propaganda since the end of WW2. And the enlightened centrists (i.e. the Dems) you have been absolutely complicit in this.

The leftist platform, is hugely popular with voters. Stuff like single-payer healthcare. But not popular with the corporate owners of the duopoly.

So it has nothing to do with the left not having a platform. And everything to do with the center and the right keeping left platforms off the table.

It is as if Bernie wasn’t deliberately sidelined by Democrats, despite being more popular than either Clinton or Trump.

2016 I’ll give you. There is no excuse for 2020 though. He got pummeled by Biden.

          Signed, a Bernie 2020 voter.

I haven’t paid enough attention to the Democratic primaries in 2020 (it was the pandemic after all), but I presumed that Bernie was overlooked again because A) Biden had the backing of the establishment, and B) Biden capitalised on the bungled handling of Trump administration on Covid. Especially the last bit, it was an easy issue to weaponised by an opposition, the same way as Trump laser focused on the inflation to attack Biden’s administration.
