I’m pretty sure the parent comment is whining because their “CIA caused Ukraine to hate Russia” argument falls flat in the face of overwhelming evidence that Putin and his gang of oligarchs are giant war-mongering douchebags.
Personally I dislike their restrictions on people’s bodily autonomy, their pandering to the right wing, and their opposition to the seizure of the means of production by the working class. Their refusal to take sufficient action in the face of the climate crisis, and refusal to fund passenger rail is also big. Further discontent is imperialism at home and abroad as well as our treatment of our indigenous peoples and our refusal to give land back so they can steward it in the responsible ways that they did for thousands of years.
I really dislike this government. But it’s not forcing you to eat bugs. It’s subsidizing the shit out of meat and should stop doing that. Y’all need beans and mushrooms instead but if you’d prefer bugs instead or alongside I’ll let you enjoy them
