That’s not the only other alternative, you know.

Standing up for themselves and protesting is the best way to show you aren’t taking shit. But teasing and being provocative in this childish manner isn’t helping the situation, only antagonizing.

        I’m not American…

And that’s besides the point. You don’t make fun of a group of people who are abused and abandoned by their society and government and who are innocent in this situation. I want Trump to cease being alive just as anyone, but the majority of Americans are also against annexing Greenland.

Again, I’m not American, I’m Scandinavian, so I just want this shit to end, not escalate.

ITT: a lot of people not admitting they are American. I would fucking love to see a Xitter style country tag on some of these accounts.

I’m American, I’ve seen these people in every state I’ve been to, I’ve seen every person who walks by them avert their eyes, I’ve seen even the most liberal of cities make homelessness illegal.

Punching down is what America does to the world and to our own. The world making fun of how our incredibly wealthy society has a problem with extreme poverty and drugs of oblivion isn’t punching down. They not making fun of the people, they are making fun of the society that has normalized abandoning them.

This is forcing our eyes open and making us look at ourselves in the mirror, and a lot of people consider themselves the victims in that mirror when they are moving the machine forward with their action or inaction.

America is the only place where we say “We” and we don’t mean the other 50% of the country. Those people are mutants. No, they’re also us.

it’s making fun of Americans with a drug problem

Again, this is the bottom line for me, and it’s not cool or okay in this situation. It isn’t satire, it’s pure ridicule.

But whatever, what’s done is done.

            Btw,

like making fun by imitating children doing school shooting drills

this is okay to do in your opinion?
