RustDesk brings true unattended remote access to Wayland, with multi-monitor support. A preview build for x86_64 Debian/Ubuntu-based systems is available now.
Personally in my use case if I need clipboard on my headless windows system I wake it with moonlight and then connect with rustdesk. Not the most elegant way of going about it but it works. In assuming Polaris would work similarly for a Linux machine.
Now all I need is a way to remotely start a headless session and I can finally nuke X11 off my computer.
This lets you connect even from the login screen. Is this not it?
Maybe Polaris is what you’re looking for. It’s meant for game streaming. But of course you can stream whatever you want.
Same, please let me know if you find out a way to do this.

Game streaming is fine and dandy but I need clipboard integration in order to use it for real work.
Edit: x11vnc is a miracle of technology that needs to be replicated with wayland.
