When life seems largely about status based on career, education, kids, loans for houses and nice cars, vacations, expensive hobbies … and if some males feels disenfranchised from all that, realistically or not, then what these guys have left after all that is being white.

Self-esteem is not a picky; it grows where it can.

And white is what they will use to flex, and the ruts of being white are not complicated nor undriven and still have access to power and force.

    The thing is this:

How do we make white people reidentify with a group(s) that is or are less exploitive and less oppressive than the history of white power ?

Discourage people identify with groups in general, or at least discourage people identify with groups based on inherent traits.

Sadly (Or fortunately, if you think about it) that seems to just not be how people work.

All people will, as highly social creatures, form groups and identities around those groups.

          How so?

that seems to just not be how people work.

Some people are also racist, is it not good to discourage it?

form groups and identities around those groups.

Identifying around inherent traits is not something that always has to happen. Furthermore, tying yourself to traits whether inherent or not will make people very defensive of any criticism of anything relating to that

If people didn’t inherently form social groups we would not be here.

How’d you get that out of my answer is beyond me.

The point is that people will join identity based social groups no matter what and they need better identities to form those groups around.

It doesn’t need to be an inherent group, just an identity.

Hint: There’s a reason that historically racist states are so hostile to unions.
