    Cool, now do minimum wage and labor rights.

    Adding hundreds of thousands of new jobs isn’t much when those jobs don’t provide a living wage.

      Exactly… and how many of them are “zero hour contracts” with no guaranteed hours but rigged to prevent you taking any other jobs.

      I saw Austin Goolsbee on PBS news hour, and he indicated that a lot of these new jobs are lower paying part time ones, so total hours worked and total compensation paid hasn’t increased nearly as much as that top line number seems to indicate.

        So look at U6.

        Its like people don’t realize that Unemployment rate is only U3, and that U4, U5, and U6 are readily available and easy to look up…


        You can also look at Median usual weekly real earnings: https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/LES1252881600Q . Note that this series is CPI / Inflation Adjusted, so its apples-to-apples. We’ve got more jobs and higher-wages than 2019-era USA right now, even on an inflation-adjusted basis.
