minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink1•9 months agoIt really should be more. The fossil fuel industry in the U.S. is subsidized to the tune of $20 billion per year. I probably don’t have to point it out but 1 billion is just 5% of the free money they get from the government anyway.
Make it $1T+ and you’ll raise my eyebrows.
