I read that as “stroking” and it still worked

this is the 3rd or 4th time I’ve said this on lemmy - but I cannot understand how she faced absolutely zero consequences from exposing herself and heavy rubbing in a crowded theatre.

Ideally that wouldn’t be a crime unless they were involving someone nearby involuntary (potentially just as a witness). Usually if people get frisky just ask them to leave and leave it at that - we don’t need more people on the sexual offenders list.

That, at least, is the standard I’d like evenly applied.

It’s also like she has done enough political nonsense that her giving a handy way back, to her overage bf in a bowling alley or whatever is kind of a non issue at this point. You can now point to a bunch of public reasons why she should not be a political leader, regardless of her sexual proclivities of the past or present.

Yeah, I’m not hopping onboard that opinion. If you expose yourself in a sexual manner(despite trying to be discreet) in a theater filled with people, you deserve to be labeled a sex offender. There could be children in the crowd or working as ushers.

There’s already way too many stories of men and to a lesser extent women exposing themselves to people in public.

It was a night vision camera so it’s debatable if there was consequential exposure

Oh good I’m not the only one. I mean c’mon.
