Just needs an edit with more believable names. Nobody’s called their baby girl Agnes for probably 500 years unless she was born as an elderly woman.

Agnieszka is not that uncommon a name, and it could be shortened to Agnes.

I know a couple named Bob and Agnes. They’re in their mid 60s iirc.

lol what? It’s a fairly common name in all the Nordic countries at the very least, and fairly sure in Britain as well. The post is obviously American, but that name is not an uncommon one.

Anecdotally I know of at least three, two adults and one just starting school.

I’d suggest that a couple replies here took my response too literally but don’t want to have to come back and explain that I’m not accusing anybody of stealing.

And the fact they took the time to fix the autocorrect not capitalizing the words spelled out for BDSM. If you are angry it’s not happening.

Too be fair, I really like the name - you just gotta french it up! (Agnès; ɑɲˈɛs)

But I guess Bravely Default was not as popular as I’d like and I’ve never heard the french version elsewhere.

It’s amazing what toxic assholes say to try to “prove” that posts are fake. I wish you and everyone else would have left that dumb, cynical shit at Reddit.

Shocking but not everybody knows everything.

        Pop quiz:

        • ASL (Not American Sign Language)
        • Sounding
        • TCP/IP
        • What does the K stand for when referring to the music of Mozart
        • IATA

        Edit: Answers

        • Age, sex location. Old school Internet days.
        • Sounding. Urethral sounding. 😣
        • Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol. It’s one way that packets move through a network. Another would be UDP.
        • Köchel. is the person that chronologically catalogued Mozart’s music.
        • International Air Transport Association. Sets technical standards for airlines.

          Age, sex and location.

Putting things into the urethra (urethra play)

          No idea

          No idea

          You’re the asshole (I joke)

Back to the original post, I’d be genuinely surprised if anyone over the age of 30 does not know what BDSM is.

Sounding is measuring the depth of something. Sounding rods used to be a stick you put into a tank to identify how deep the liquid was in the tank, sometimes with marks on the rod. Maybe I’m just old.

Nice. Nice. Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol (one of the ways traffic moves over a network). Köchel Catalogue, named after the dude that first catalogued Mozarts work. International air transport association.

For the mozart one, i always thought it was some german word for counting… it is not. K or KV stands for the name of someone who started cataloging mozarts repertoir in composition order. So it stands for Köchel Verzeichnis (Köchel catalogue) or just Köchel…

So now that I know that the K stands for a random dude, i prefer Bach’s numbering BWV, which stands for Bachswerkeverzeichnis or catalogue of bach’s works or compositions

I mean true, not everyone knows everything, although I would have said that is something almost everyone knows, like the first question at Who wants to be a millionaire. But I mean it’s fine if someone doesn’t know that, it was just a bit baffling to me at first.

No one is born knowing what those letters stand for. In fact, people don’t even know what letters or words are when they are born. So obviously there must be a point in each person’s life when they go from not knowing to knowing. That will happen at different time for different people, depending on who they talk to and what their interests are.

If you want to better understand how someone can not know what bdsm stands for, perhaps you should just reflect on something you’ve learnt recently. Anything at all. Just think about how you didn’t know it, but now you do. That’s how to works.
