For those who didn’t see, a woman in the UK had her laptop seized over NSFW Skyrim mods a “friend” found on it and reported to authorities. It is projected to be released to her sometime in 2025. Over Skyrim mods.

I had my cult at max upgrade before the update and the only new thing I see on the building screen is the level 2 janitor closet.

Where the hell is the fuck tent?! And how do I manage follower outfits? Do I have to unlock them via crusades?

Hang around for a while and one of your followers will bring you quests to do that unlock the new stuff. They first came up to me right after I loaded in, so you may need to reload your save.

I think the new things should unlock if you do a sermon

I really found the combat side of this game lacking and it feels like it’s been leaning on on the sim side of the gameplay after the previous update made fighting side worse.

I get this is really for furry people that want to feel like they lead a community but man I really just want gameplay.

It’s stuck between trying to be dark and difficult and being light and easy. And instead of sitting comfortably it feels like it’s being ripped apart.

It’s not even the combat itself I have a problem with, it’s the lack of variety. I like when a run throws a curveball that completely changes my strategy or even my goal for the run. Of course The Binding Isaac is the biggest example of this, though to be fair it had like 15 years of updates to get there.

But also I think (also Devolver published) Enter the Gungeon did this really well even at launch

Yeah. I saw a mod that added more weapons and stuff but I just don’t view it as worth it.

It absolutely was so repetitive and if you had a bad weapon or skill you just had to wait till you could replace it. No real synergy or play style options.

I stopped playing it cause I had unlocked everything and had pretty much beaten the game in 4 hours by narrowing the gameplay to one loop.

Binding of Isaac has been a staple for me but Hades was fun too. And Risk of Rain 2 if it had better controls would be incredible.

Did you try changing your difficulty settings?

Had it on hard. Then the rebalance happened and it was worse. Then it really was a boring slog with not fun weapons.

It’s a great game for those who haven’t played. This update might get me to try a third run-through on it
