      Those are penicillium not mushrooms, but hey, they are antibiotic

        It could be aspergillus. Would never want to risk trying to get the right type of fungi on your rotten food for antibiotic properties.

      That’s not how cheese works. It’s a bacterial process, mold is just added in some cases for the flavour.

    scary fun fact though, many breads we buy in grocery stores don’t get moldy anymore. So many preservatives.

    have you noticed?

    bread used to get moldy, but it doesn’t anymore.

    unless you spend more and by quality stuff with no preservatives.
