PSA: messing around with routes of administration for drugs is a good way to end up dead or in the hospital. Follow your medical providers’ instructions, if something seems off/not working ask your doctor for advice.

I do my testosterone shots subconsciously subcutaneously instead of intramuscularly. Had my thigh lock up for a solid week after I hit the wrong spot, so fuck that.

Drawing it up takes fucking forever, though.

The only test I’ve given patients was super thick. Is yours thin or are you putting that oil subq?

I’m doing it subq. I split it into two doses and do it twice a week. A 27g needle doesn’t take a super long time, but 29g is more comfortable.

At my work I see most people using a large needle to draw up and a small needle to inject. Don’t know if that’s doable in your situation.

It is, but I ordered 27-29g insulin syringes to try out. Once I use those up I’ll order 27g needles and use up my 18g and 23g tips.

Normal route, but when I was a teen boy, I broke my leg. They put me in a temporary cast from foot to hip. For the morphine, they not ally weigh you. They couldn’t due to cast, so they asked my weight. As I was a scrawny teen, embarrassed by being too small, I fudged the weight up and they gave me higher doses. I was pretty delirious.
