I’m sure I’m missing more examples, but space got a little cramped.
Edit: added Saru for Admiral Patrick, and in doing so, had to add SNW Kirk to hide Saru’s cropped head… also now featuring a conveniently placed Zora… plus Kira and Jadzia’s beautiful rendition of “Allamaraine” followed by drunk Bashir for Lopen’s Left Arm… more backup vocals from “Unnamed Klingon Chef” from DS9 in lieu of Gowron from the Klingon language program for PrinceWith999Enemies… including the DS9 do-re-mi quartet for CelloMike… rounded out with blooper reel Gene and Danilo for aeronmelon.
Picard sang A British Tar in Insurrection. I know you’ve already got him in there, but at least that one is canon.
I bent reality a bit to make it, including Shatner’s “Rocket Man” performance.
You could also use Kirk from Star Trek V, singing Row, Row, Row Your Boat. ;)
Right, but then we wouldn’t see him looking dapper yet dressed down next to Vic and Sisko (not because I had spent some time trying to forget it). Can I interest in in a marsh melon?
Fair enough.
takes the marshmelon
Wow, this is a lot of work to make this! Well done!
Thanks. Did it “make your blood scream?”
Definitely!
I love this so much
Or without the background:Thanks for the logo. Tried my own, crappier recreation.
Anyway, who are the other judges?John de Lancie (in Q inquisition outfit of course)
Majel Barrett
Gene RoddenberryShitpost suggestion: JJ Abrams
No JJ, but the rest are in place.
Beautiful! No need to tarnish this with JJ.
My favorite star trek songs are the klingon ones.
Warrior’s Anthem and the Klingon drinking song
Also the acid punk song in lower decks
And finally who can forget that lovely boy band song?
No love for Klingon Opera?
sourceWorf in the right bottom, singing “Maylota.”
Oh man! I missed Worf in the image!
If I can make a suggestion, Gowron’s song from the (I believe) canon computer game Star Trek: Klingon should make him not only eligible, but front row. I give you the Klingon War Song with English translation.
Okay, so he’s more the persuasion accompaniment, but as Captain I think he gets the credit, plus I don’t remember if anyone else recognizable is on the bridge in this scene.
It’s probably been 30 years or so since I played this game (it was actually a Klingon language learning program, complete with crappy microphone input).
Damn, that’s a deep cut. He appears to only laugh a bit and cheer them on. I’ll see if I can find a shot that’s not all of 5 pixels, though.
I’m not even sure the original game was as much as 640x480, but it was a pretty amazing and immersive experience for teenage me.
Best I can do is the Klingon chef from DS9. Not a lot of source material for that language program.
That’s more than fair. They probably sold like 11 copies. The actors were really into it though, and it was a very early game to be based around recorded video rather than computer graphics.
Saru’s song of remembrance is the only one off the top of my head I don’t see in there.
Ok, got him. The only shots of him singing have his head cropped, so had to add and get creative.
Now I remember Zora sang “Stormy Weather”. Not sure how you’d even incorporate the ship’s computer, though? Can definitely let that one slide. lol
Appreciated, but yeah, that’s another good one.
Oh, you managed to get her in there! Fantastic.
Very nice!
Are we including Jack, Sarina, Patrick and Lauren and their do-re-mi ditty in DS9?
They’re in now.
Since it doesn’t have to be 100% in-universe. There’s also that one blooper from TNG’s Up the Long Ladder where Worf, Danilo Odell (Barrie Ingham), and Gene Roddenberry are singing a jaunty folk song:
@ 1:50
Great blooper reel! Crammed them in for ya.
Damn, you need a bigger viewscreen.
How dare you relegate Kevin to the background like that!
It just dawned on me that you’re keeping your promise to have Kevin sing for any memes featuring Kevin.
I honestly don’t remember making that promise, but I’ll pretend I kept it.
I see you’ve got Sisko already, but Dax, Bashir, and Kira all sang “Allamaraine” in Move Along Home.
Adjusted accordingly.
Allamaraine!
Forgot Bashir, but decided to go with his drunk singing with O’Brien.
