Is there anyway to downvote your own posts by default?
Do you really hate yourself that much?
I mean I kinda get what they mean. It’s always been strange to me how the vote doesn’t start at zero. So auto downvoting your posts would do that.
The only potential problem I see with it is Lemmy (like Reddit) has a tendency to just downvote if there’s already downvotes.
Do you really attach that much effort into a downvote? Damn I been doin it wrong since MySpace…

Your best bet is to write a script if you’re on a desktop or make a fork/request a feature of/for an open source project, I guess.

There is already too much absurds downvotes, and many instances deactivate them.
So don’t worry other lemmings, and bots Will do it for you.
