I suck at Othello as well
I thought it was a tic-tac-toe in 4x4, because then black wins whatever white does, which explains why white
tablecroco-flips. I’m not familiar enough with the rules of Othello to exclude this game though.if so wouldn’t black just put their peg on the third column of the third row and win instantly?
That makes sense. I could see myself making a move that delays my victory for one turn just for the sake of annoying my opponent, but in the context of a comic that may be a bit overthought.
Othello is one of those games where I only seem to lose if I go first. Easy as shit when I go second.
