It’s that New Jersey beach experience but with 95% less douchebags!
The beach experience misses:
- used heroin needles,
- used condoms,
- more thrown away trash in general,
- dead fishes.
I’ve honestly never seen any of those on a beach, neither on natural nor on managed touristy ones

Worst things I’ve encountered in the sand at the beach in Santa Cruz is the occasional beer can/bottle and hermit crabs pinching my toes.

Last fun thing like that I had was picking up a horny hairy tarantula and getting stung on the back of my hand as he crawled around
Honestly nicer than any beach I’ve ever been to
