On the one hand, I’ll be voting for Biden.

On the other hand, if he does lose this election, it will be entirely from the Democrats own fucking hubris. They were the ones who made up this idea that “only Biden could beat Trump.” They’re the ones stubbornly turning a blind eye to the atrocities in Israel, and discrediting the campus protests to divest from Israel. I don’t want to hear a goddamn word about how it’s “the voters fault” like we heard in 2016. If the Democratic party genuinely wants to keep focusing their efforts on losing elections, then they deserve all the blame if they’re not able to beat a convicted felon.

Honestly even with Biden losing a bunch of voters due to his stance on Israel, I’m not sure tossing away the incumbency advantage is a good move.

He doesn’t have an incumbency advantage. He very narrowly beat Trump in 2020 and has dropped in polling ever since. If anything, had the Dems run someone different, they could have done a big show of the graceful transition of power as a reminder of January 6th. Hindsight’s also 20/20, but it would’ve allowed Dems to have their cake and eat it to on Israel, since I don’t know if Palestine will last to November at the current rate.

I’m not sure we have the same understanding of “incumbency advantage”.

Trump’s too stupid to warp a 2x4 from Home Depot. Our government has exploits that lets assholes like him get through and we need to harden it.

That’s the best insult I’ve heard all day, I’m stealing it. Not surprising that I came up with it, I am quite clever, you know.

It’s been 8 years of accusations and promises of an imminent conviction, with no actual results until now. It’s not that weird for people to be a little exhausted and unimpressed by it, especially when the charges are a bit convoluted and confusing to the average person. But his opponents are working hard to simplify the message to “he’s a felon”, so maybe that will kick in eventually.

Trump didnt warp our politics, hes the result of democrats accepting a certain level of evil, and NEVER holding their politicians accountable as they get worse every election cycle.

If I thought I was being clever, why would I make the same joke every time? I’m just being honest. You need sleep

Dude is a bit unhinged. Biden and the “evil democrats” live rent-free in his head. Never mind him, never criticizing Republicans and if he does, he pretty much says,“yeah Republicans are bad, but this is why democrats are worse”.

Oh I know, that’s why I just reply to his comments insinuating he’s a Russian troll. I stopped actually engaging with him

So he just leaped ahead to accept a whole lot of evil instead of just a certain level of evil?
