After spending thousands on NFL-ST over the years, (assuming it isn’t overturned on appeal) I cannot wait for my coupon entitling me to one small soda and half a hotdog with my nearest stadium.*

*Offer not valid during NFL season.

I hate the exclusivity the NFL does. From DirecTV to now YouTube TV… though DirecTV still has it for businesses, for now.

The biggest one is via EA with Madden. We need more competition for better product and pricing.

Exactly. Why can’t it be on every platform, like HBO? Sure, the exclusivity commands billions. But could they lower the price and make it up in volume? And NFL could sell a team only package direct to consumers.

our media distribution strategy, which features all NFL games broadcast on free over-the-air television in the markets of the participating teams and national distribution of our most popular games,

I don’t even understand this. I missed at least one game last year because it was exclusive to Prime. Maybe I’m misreading it.

Amazon has (had?) the exclusive rights to Thursday Night Football

Right, so if my team is on TNF, then I can’t watch it on network TV like the claim says

Sure. But “features” doesn’t mean “always offers”
