That’s pretty much the plot of King Kong.

Why is this stereotype so pervasive? Am I the only person who wasn’t obsessed with dinasours? I feel like I’d seen more instances of this being depicted than actual dinasours as a kid

It’s just a super common subject for children to be interested in. Especially if your class did a field trip to a museum with dinosaur skeletons.

Even as an adult, seeing a T-Rex skeleton is awe inspiring.

I don’t know I never did dinosaurs. I was all about my power ranger and Jedi imaginary friends. We were gonna beat up Darth Vader.

I was a kid and didn’t have the concept of death. Still apparently I had it better than Disney. I knew the emperor was not existing after the 2nd death star exploded.

You knew about the Death Star but didn’t know the concept of death. Also Disney. Disney should rebrand it The Fun Star.

I wasn’t interested in dinosaurs, but I was my own imaginary dragons.

My youngest daughter was seven or so before she gave up on Unicorns living in the rainforests.

Apatosaurus has been spotted in the Amazon by local tribes and their stories prove it. They hang out with the last breeding population of giant sloths!
