this is not about the USA’s GOP - i’d agree with that sentiment.
This was more about the up and coming, younger right-extremist parties rising across europe lately.
I’m sure we can find a middle ground, not wanting to die is selfish

It obviously is more nuanced than that, but the nuances don’t make it any better.

So true, sometimes you do have to take a side.
I , of course, choose the side of strapping the guy who says it’s nuanced, at the place of the guy who was strapped.

Taking a side saves lives.Yeesh. I mean, chronically neutral people are fucking garbage, we can all agree. But the lack of nuance in political discourse and in the actual understanding and worldviews of seemingly everybody is a massive problem. People not even grasping that there can be nuance on issues is incredibly devastating to political discourse. Social media is definitely a big culprit, but the “catchphrase politics” era was most definitely part and party to this too.
Bring back nuance 2025
the neutral character in the comic is being directly told what the laser operator’s goal is by the laser operator. they use nuance as an excuse to not pick a side.
this isn’t about nuance being bad it’s about neutrality towards oppression being effectively identical to oppression.
But what if we used even more power?
