For the glory of the Empire!
In modern parlance, it’s called a D’k tahg
Dt dt duh duh duh duh duh dt dt duh duh
dt dt dt dt dt dt
Dt dt duh duh duh duh DUH dt dt DUH DUH…
K’plah!
Ah, they had mallsword neckbeards in mediaeval times too
May I present to you the kpinga from medieval southern Egypt. Meant to be thrown, about a foot long.
MallDesert Ninja Shit.
Why yes, I have stabbed you with scissors, do not make me open them!
There’s also a katar version of this!
Read through the link in the comments, but it didn’t answer if it could be released one handed.
That looks like it would break the first time you tried to use it in combat.
Looks ok to me, the middle blade appears to be the part at the base a sword would connect with. The side pieces are only there to help catch a blade to break it or disarm someone.
It’s not intended to be used to create a massive wound, but it could stab in a pinch.
I meant that those little side blades look like they would break if someone hit them with a sword, which is what happens when you parry.
Maybe if the only point of contact was one of the side blades, but that seems unlikely.
