Lions edge rusher Aidan Hutchinson said he’s eyeing a February return after undergoing surgery in October to repair his fractured tibia and fibula.
I’ll believe the Lions can make a Super Bowl when it happens. As we saw last week, coaching appears to be a bit of a liability.
If you are referring to the onside kick, that was done out of desperation. Their only mistake was not doing it again at the 8 min mark.
If they didn’t get it their hope was to hold Allen to a field goal on a compressed field and save some time. Obviously that didn’t work out, but I think they were losing that game either way. Allen is just unstoppable right now.
Not to mention the increasing list of other injuries to the defense, which may also be at least partially a product of being coached to play hard to the point of pushing themselves beyond what they can handle. (And especially as a Vikings fan, I can say) they may not even win the division at this point. Doesn’t mean they couldn’t make the Super Bowl as a wild card, but they definitely don’t want to play that extra game to get there. Though also as a Vikings fan, I would love to see the division come down to Week 18’s game between us, so still somewhat hoping we both win our other two games to get there.
