The brutality of American society is insane. No wonder a majority of voters voted for a sociopathic malignant narcissist.
It’s scary how a population can become as evil as has happened in much of USA.

This comment was reported as hate speech.

America is a melting pot. As such, if this speech was against an idea, it’s no more hate speech that ati-fascist speech.

We have a ton of idiots advocating for billionaires, who would gladly toss us into a volcano.

While there are people that are good, enough bad people voted or didn’t vote that this comment breaks no rules.

Well, remember, both the American and Australian colonies were the rejects not wanted in England so it isn’t surprising when it turns out those descendants are racist pieces of shit.

PROUD descendents of racists. When you celebrate being on the side of slavery and bigotry of course it’s going to continue unabated.

The British were heavily involved in slave trade. They built the whole inudstry of the american colonies around bringing slaves there, selling the product in Britain and then selling some British stuff to the slavers in Africa to buy more slaves. They royal fanily derived a lot of its wealth from slave trade.

Pretty ridiculous to generalize like that.

That’s like saying ‘you Europeans are all the same, voting for your queen and bishboshing to work everyday.’

      Ignorant as fuck sounding, right?

The population in USA overall is actually evil, not all as individuals, but as a society. Death penalty, 3 strikes rule, persecution of homeless, bad healthcare for the poor, unlivable minimum wage, highest gun crime in the developed world, regular mass shootings, stand your ground, hostile to the environment and pollutes twice of Europe per capita, the 1% hoarding 50% of the wealth.
Americans in their laws are displaying a general mentality of sociopathy and blaming the victim, and might makes right. It is very clearly a sick society. It’s sad that the sick mentality is so normalized, that many Americans can’t even see it, when it’s pointed out to them!

I am perfectly aware that not all Americans are like that, there are also amazing people, they are like flowers growing through concrete. But USA is a sociopathic society, and Narcissism is widely seen as a virtue, because it seen as an expression of the ultimate individuality and freedom.

You can’t vote for a queen or a king. That’s kind of the problem with monarchies.

So yes, that’s an ignorant as fuck statement.

EU has far better democracy than USA. It’s even part of the requirements to become a member. USA is a dysfunctional democracy, which is why it’s basically a 2 party system. That’s just one party more than any authoritarian nation, and it shows.

Not a surprise. It may be lemmy, but that doesn’t mean half of all people aren’t dumber than average.

In January, Stewart received a commendation from the department for responding to “issues related to the houseless population” with “compassion and professionalism toward everyone.” As the Courier Journal first reported, Stewart is facing a 20-day unpaid suspension for helping to cover up a subordinate’s use of force against a man likely experiencing homelessness last year — a suspension he is now appealing.

What the fuck? They praised the dude for racking up citations. Look, if one person is getting a majority of the citations, clearly the system is flawed to some degree. But they later found he was covering an incident against a homeless person. Talk about flip-flopping.

That’s not flip-flopping, it’s a tiny window into how sick and sadistic agencies like these can be. Picture this award being given when everyone involved knows full well what this guy was.really doing to the homeless. They probably thought “responding to homeless with compassion and professionalism” was a sick joke and had a big laugh about it.
