You can make a mini Holo matrix in the lid, so when opened, it activates. Less special technology.

An actual facsimile would be very hackable for a small opaque coffee container.
Put a raspi with a screen addon on the underside of the hinged lid. Add a reed switch or light sensor to trigger the video gif. Maybe add a solar panel to the top of the lid to charge the device.

A recordable audio device like in those singing cards. Just load it with that line and put it on the cabinet with your coffee in it.
