If it works like subsidies over here, companies will just jack up prices to eat up the full subsidy.
They want to push Apple out of their domestic market is what they’re trying to do. Because an iPhone is still a status symbol compared to Huawei or any phone really.
I bet they are all on HarmonyOS…
