      tbf “delayed” sorta implies something external caused it, while “late” tends to be used for more self-inflicted stuff, so it does actually check out

    Well, a wizard is only delayed by another wizard. The other wizard wanted this wizard to arrive late, which is when a wizard wanted the arrival, so yeah, it checks out.
