Between AI, voice cloning, and modern CGI I’m surprised we haven’t gotten a real computer-generated talk show host.

Can we get it to hack chicago television stations and spank people live on air, and complain about democrats (if I’m remembering it right) before babbling into being completely incoherant?

Yeah I think we had a sag strike for that reason but also it would be terrible. Unlike the CSuite’s wet dreams. It’s not at all even close to creating anything worth watching that’s not the novelty look what an Ai can do. The equivalent of a monkey mimicking a human. Aww it thinks it’s people.

Proof an AI is even remotely like a human would be the fact that if it thought it was human, it would show signs of depression.

This is already kind of a thing. There used to be a twitch channel where they had news generated with chatgpt, presented by AI-voiced characters, but I can’t remember what the channel was called. It may not even exist anymore.

neuro-sama is the modern day max headroom

  • As far as you know. I suspect most Fox presenters are AI.

Man, what a missed opportunity for the networks. They could do Naked News, but with preferences set by each viewer. We could have weather reports given by a capybara in James Earl Jones’s voice! Sports presented by a koala with Ryan Reynolds’ as if he were huffing helium!

Damn. Now I want customized AI newscasters.
