      Not even close to cannibalism. And yes, it would be much more like humans and cows because ‘bird’ is as broad a category as ‘mammal.’ Some predatory birds only eat other birds.

        A crow eating chicken and a human eating beef are actually really good parallels. Crows and chicken are 91 million years diverged while cows and humans 94 million years diverged.

        evolution is so stupid sometimes. did you know whales’ ancestors were not only land animals but also looked like funky deers? fur and all included & they share that ancestor with hippos

      Corvids aren’t against eating other birds (jays make slaughtering nestlings a pastime) and chickens aren’t against eating other chickens. Overall I consider it morally neutral from the crow perspective.
