Unsure if this is the right place as it regards video, but here we go.
So I just tried out Adobe Firefly, uploaded a starting image (frame) and then proceeded to add a prompt. The result was kinda good 5sec video, but I literally only got 2 tries as a freebie.
My question is, is there any website I can use which doesn’t charge $10 per month to create these mini movies?

The free tier of Hailuo AI provides a hundred credits a day, with a thousand on sign-up with a Google account. Text prompt with or without starting image are twenty five credits per video generation and generations with subject reference are forty five. The realism and fidelity of environment Hailuo generates is unmatched in my opinion but movement is a little unreliable but still of a very high standard. Wait times are generally very good away from those times you would expect peak Chinese use. The subscription rates are very fair also. Content filters are variable but quite strict, many innocuous everyday actions between people are censored, possibly due to the concerns of the authors, possibly due to pressures exerted upon them, Hailuo is Shanghai based. It is also possible to generate audio. There are Reddit and Discord boards for Hailuo advice.
Hunyuan is the main one right now, it gives you free gens but they take quite a bit of time. This was a few months ago so things might have changed.

There’s also runway and pixverse which I’m pretty sure both have free gens.

If you have a GPU, you might be able to run the hunyuan model since they open-sourced it.
There’s also spaces, which are publicly available models hosted on huggingface. Gens are limited though.

I think Kling AI offers more free credits. And they’re kind of the market leader right now. But their subscription is expensive, too.
