I feel like if you grew enough to have a visible eatable mass it would be pretty goopy.

    Though dried would be curious.

No nutritional value whatsoever. They would simply pass through your system unbothered.

    • this is a joke, but who knows lol. If they’re as resilient as they say then why would your teeth and digestive system affect them?

A sugar cube is impervious to the vaccum of space, radiation, absolute zero and complete dehydration

Yet I can still eat it

We should be sending sugar cubes out into space.

This will incentivise horses to develop their own space program, which would lead to a space race between the species.

But how will they operate the fine machinery with their hooves? I hear you ask.

If they can pull a cart, then they can pull a lever.

The sugar doesn’t gut destroyed or disappear, it just changes form and once you dry it out you’ve got your sugar again. Much like a tardigrade

Well they’re probably a good source of protein in that case!

They’re probably too small to taste and digest. You probably got some in you right now.

Indeed, but I mean like a lot of them, in large quantity, like a bowl of Tardios…

You’re eating your Tardios watching cartons and the cat runs in and spills them on the carpet. You’re never getting them out.

Because they’re so small I think a bowl of tardios would be more like a liquid, probably not very viscous, and more than likely wouldn’t taste like anything. I think the “texture” of that would feel disgusting though

The biggest ones are about the size of teff grains or fine couscous, which is more like sand than a fine powder
