Having gained access to the building, DOGE then proceeded to wipe out USIP’s IT systems, shred its documents, seize its funding, and take down the USIP website—including all of the research the agency had conducted over the past 40 years, one of its employees told MSNBC host Rachel Maddow.

After the takeover, Musk’s 28-year-old minion Nate Cavanaugh—a college dropout with no experience in government or international affairs—was put in charge of the agency.

Now, the newly reinstated USIP now has to clean up the mess created by DOGE—an office that was ostensibly tasked with rooting out abuse, waste, and fraud in the federal government, Maddow said on her show Monday night.

“Because all of that was totally illegal, the folks at the U.S. Institute of Peace will have to repair everything and stand everything back up in order to even start to get back to where they were before this whole thing started,” she said. “It’s just pure pointlessness and waste.”

We can’t afford to run another bitchass “moderate” who refuses to hold these shitheads accountable.

If/when we have a dem president again, we need to actually press charges for this shit.

Do you remember all of the impeachments? They tried and didn’t have the votes or billionaires behind that move. Just like Republicans are not monoliths even though it seems that way on the surface, neither are Democrats.

Impeachments are pressing charges and so was what Jack Smith was doing.

Charges need to be pressed more severely. Merrick Garland was complicit as far as I’m concerned. No more playing the nice guy, bring their game to them. Severely. The law is on our side.

Biden admitted that Garland was his biggest mistake.

Charges need to be pressed more severely.

I’m not really sure what that means.

Like dial those pressure of charges up to 10.

I’m glad that Biden has that hindsight. Luckily for him he won’t have to live long with the consequences of his inaction.

Bro, Jack Smith was intentionally brought in about 3 years too late by that do nothing shitheel Merrick Garland. This was done purposely so that Trump had enough time to delay by appeals in order to make it back into the White House.

We also had the Mueller report, which basically had a whole section in it that was “you didn’t task me to investigate his financial crimes, but you really should, because here’s a shit ton of evidence he’s compromised by shady foreign financial dealings we found while looking at other stuff!!!” And it went completely ignored by the criminals in Congress.

If these same criminals aren’t removed along with ushering in a progressive fighter for president, then we are going to have the same results next time.

The DNC is pushing hard for more of the same, because it’s made them rich and it’s what their donors are demanding of them.

It’s what I’d expect DOGE people to be smoking. These are the guys in high school that bought a bag of oregano and said it was the best shit they ever had.

Oh look it’s the butane blasted bullshit my local dispensaries put into their “complementary” and “giveaway” prerolls after they make their wax.

It looks like they’re digging through a trash bag so I think it’s just some shake that got emptied out of the vacuum and into that bag. Probably spilled it all over the carpet and housekeeping had to clean it up. If not, well fuck, I don’t what that is.

    “Private security firm”

It was blackwater, they’re a private military contractor (re: private military) not a security firm.
