This is a Malazan shitpost and there is nothing you can do about it.

If you don’t get the title just enjoy the comic on its own.

I’m on book 4 and it ruined all other fantasy. I know I’ve seen nothing yet and still.

Here for the nice shitposting. It hits the hardest.

#4 looks like mugshot from sly cooper

I stopped about 200 pages towards the end of Book 8. I’m doing audio books, but still - can’t hack the whole Clip story arc. I just can’t do hours and hours of that when I don’t give a shit.

Actually, by 2036, new scanning tech discovers there is no “spinosaur”. We just kept finding 3 dinosaurs upside down and mashed together.

Malazan is the best. It’s the bar by which i measure other fantasy.

I’ve read it. While I appreciate it as a whole, and really like a good bit of it, I found enough of it to be a slog that I only recommend it to people who already read fantasy. Do you have any other recommendations in the same vein?

Not quite the same, but try Conn Igullden’s Rome series. Short by Malazan standards, and well done.

Thanks! I haven’t heard of the author or series so I’m pretty stoked to give it a try.
