I mean, it’s exactly as likely as them being able to see in the light so sure 🤷
They exist to protect us, so they kinda need to be able to see under all circumstances, I reckon

Imo, their whole existence is like a huge protective bubble shield protecting you from anything bad. And they’re even stronger / creating a bigger bubble shield if closer to you. So they don’t need to see in the dark, but are protecting you in any way.
That’s a little inaccurate. Technically, they can see into the Astral Plane, which is a little different from seeing in the dark.

Well, monsters are actually from their own dimension adjacent to our universe. They use advanced technology to bridge the gap across the Astral Plane, which lies between all dimensions.
If you’re interested, there’s actually a fantastic documentary about monster civilization. It’s a little dramatized (all documentaries are), but the events are largely historically accurate.
