Or, $3 per day per American, $6 per taxpayer.

Just putting that out there because people are really bad at understanding / contextualizing huge numbers.

That’s enough to build homes for more than 3,000 American families per day. Instead, it’s being used on mass murder.

Worse is that the new homes are not needed. There are about 20 empty houses per homeless person in America.

Just like food, there’s no actual shortage. It’s all greed.

This will be the War that breaks the USA. Ukraine is breaking Russia by utilizing new tech to make the older weapons of war ineffective. Now Iran is going to use inexpensive weapons to prove that US tech is actually behind the time. This will destroy the US war machine and cripple all that war spending.

It was a really, really, REALLY stupid move from a really, really, REALLY stupid regime.

I’m sorry, I’m really sorry, I’m sorry, BUT,

    It’s than.

Than is used when comparing, then would be “first we pay for war, then healthcare”.

I’m sorry. It’s petty but it’s my only grammar thing.

[Hurrah, die Butter ist alle! Goering in seiner Hamburger Rede: Erz hat stets ein Reich stark gemacht Butter und Schmalz haben hochstens ein Volk fett gemacht".]

[Hurrah, the butter’s all gone! Goering in his Hamburg speech: “Ore has always made an empire strong; butter and lard have at best fattened a people.”]

Edit: I just can’t get over how appropriate this is for this time and place. This is exactly how we’d criticize a Republican by portraying a MAGA family. There are so many people fueling their overtime grind with overnight oats to keep the war machine going. I don’t know what else to say aside from, “They should stop that.”

You could literally use the ai factory with fat people images with this text, it’s spot on.

Translation for those not speaking German:

      Hooray, the butter is gone!

Goering in his speech in Hamburg: Ore has always strengthened a nation, butter and lard only made it fat at best.

It honestly seems low. The patriot interceptor system costs $1B each and each rocket fired to attempt to intercept an incoming missile costs $4M.

And the current interceptor doctrine is to fire two interceptors at each incoming missile, so we’re shooting $8 million at every $50k Iranian missile. We’re weeks at best from running out, and Iran makes more missiles in a month than we make interceptors in a year. That’s not even considering things like the Shahed drones which the Pentagon has already said we don’t have a good answer for.
