I’m not sure if its currently allowed but a content migration bot could help copy the posts off of the nfl subreddit while we dont have as many users to post.

I think part of what we’re seeing is that it’s the off-season. Even on reddit, most of the NFL content right now is of the “If your team was a soup, what soup would it be and why?” type. The content and activity will come as we near the season start.

Easy question! Gumbo. Because New Orleans. And because some people will argue is not technically soup, just like some might say that, before SP and Brees, what we played was barely technically football.

Heh, skip reddit and just copy it right from Twitter, lol. Almost all of r/NFL is just @RapSheet and @nfl reposts.

It’s still offseason though, and I don’t really think we should be stealing all the OC off-season content that people come up with.

Once the preseason starts, if this page still doesn’t have many posts then I say yes.

I was wondering the same thing for the fantasy football ones.

I feel like a copy bot just makes a ghost town because there is no OP actually invested in the post. Might not matter as much here though because it’s more news-y than some other communities I’ve seen do this. Really weird to get posts requesting recommendations but from a bot. Like what’s the point?

You could argue the point is for discussion or later search reference as we’ve seen with Google.

But I agree. I think for this community where it’s mostly discussion around news stories in a specific industry, a bot for news posting would be good for now at least.

I vote no. Let our community grow organically. It will happen.
