I’m putting this on hold. I was hoping the break meant the mangaka could figure out something, but no.
Completely understandable. I’m not there yet but I’m slowly leaning towards the same decision as well. For now, I just hope things will get back on track after this arc but I’ll probably jump ship if that doesn’t happen “soon”.
It’s a bit of a shame that the 1st arc doesn’t end cleanly at the end of the official volumes. It ends like halfway through volume 4, after which the 2nd arc (this one, I guess) starts. Makes collecting them a bit messy if I just wanna stick to the 1st arc.
Oof, I didn’t even realise that. That’s one way to get people to keep buying. Seriously though, I hate when that happens - not even because it feels like they’re trying to “force” the collectors to keep buying but simply because having a neat and tidy break point with each volume/arc tickles my brain in unreasonable ways.
Oh well, thanks for the heads-up. I’ll keep that in mind when I’m finally able to get back to buying physical volumes again.

Yeah, although I don’t think that’s the intention here tbh. Like the next arc is half volume 4. It ends right at the chapter before the mangaka took a break.
