Since we have this community running, I want to open a project which will allow us to give something back. I’m opening a few threads for content to be created for a free zine which will consolidate our discussions to be released early next year. My goal is to have a POD version available 100% at cost.

The Sadim Sausage (Midas backwards) is a kind of soft nduja like cured meat sausage that displaces itself with gold. Touch a bar with it and the metal will percolate upwards through the meat like a lava lamp, leaving meat in its place on the bar that will dull and become non-magical after a turn. It is safe and delicious to eat.
Bizarre and creative. I love it!
During a pbp game of BFRPG, I had an arena that was having an amateur night. The players ended up having some good fun with it. I even made an amateur championship title. That’s my next seed for a campaign setting. A filled out arena with established fighters.
The bag of holding is a small sackcloth bag filled with down, with two glassy eyes sown to it, and perhaps a pleasant mouth painted on. It is intended as an attachment object for children, and is not dissimilar in that respect to companion cube from portal.
Make a city setpiece
Mountain Greatbridge Ruins:
Visible from any point in the city is the towering support of a colossal bridge that once spanned the nearby valley and connected two mountaintops. There is a matching one on the other side of its span, and several fragments of its deck can be found in the valley below. It is made of a material unlike those common to the region, colored a deep blue-gray and unusually heavy. Both the supports and fragments of the bridge are adorned with geometric patterns reminiscent of but not identical to ancient architecture that can be found in the city’s nearly-forgotten catacombs. When viewing the bridge support during a nighttime storm, it’s said that a a faint blue glow can be seen coming from the patterns.
Nobody knows who built it or why, and the collapsed bridge has stood in its current state as long as anyone can remember. There are some rumors that the city of today was built atop the ruins of a previous civilization, also responsible for the catacombs. Those people, whoever they were, abandoned this region long ago.
The end of the year is fast approaching. I will enjoy releasing this zine in January. For better or for worse, it is coming out.
Where did you get that cover art? It’s lovely.
Its ai generated nonsense. But the project is also nonsense so it fits
