Yeah, My shower thoughts are usually along the lines of “hmmm, the webhook handler keeps running into race conditions while modifying the record… The job queue should be handling it… But it’s not for some reason … There was that one refactor from a while back… Ohhhhh the events aren’t being queued because the refactored event hander was created before, but merged after, the job queue was introduced. I bet it isnt dispatching events to the queue so it’s running the tasks in parallel… Fuck I should probably rinse and get out of the shower.”
Hand squeegee yourself off before using your towel and it will get you much drier.
I don’t think about anything other than showering when I’m in the shower. Unless one of my dogs sticks their head in. Then I think about the dog’s head being in the shower.

It takes me like 5 minutes to shower, 2 to brush my teeth, and 3 to clean the rest of me.

Nah I’m not unique. If I’m not washing my hair I can often have an earbud in listening to some podcast or television show.
Modern tech is addicting and exhausting.

When I have a thought that I want to post outside of a shower I make sure to jump in and see if it survives to keep thinking about while waterboarding myself.
