Does… bro not understand the entire point of birthday cake?
So “I was stable enough to buy a whole cake and get my friends together, now I’m going to make sure everyone can have a slice” is anti-american or something now according to this idiot?
The “fuck you I got mine” crowd is really trying to convince struggling people to enjoy the suffering huh.
Mike buys himself an entire birthday cake every year and sits at home and eats it alone and pats himself on the back when he finishes it like a big boy.
“At least I didn’t have to share it with a bunch of freeloading friends, because I don’t have any friends. Friendship is Woke.”
Friends are for the gays. I’m a real man.
the reply is correct, but the analogy is dumb when you consider the fact that some people’s “birthday cake” is the size of texas and california put together, and having 10% of that much all to yourself is still a fucking obscene amount of cake
meanwhile millions of other people, who weren’t invited to the party, are literally living on crumbs. while we’re told they’re the ones who are a drain on the system
Also… In what world has any politician put forth taxing 90% of anyone’s wealth?
I mean I would be down for it for billionaires, but they throw a fit if you expect them to pay the same rate as someone making 30k a year.
And those who don’t have much cake at all still make the cake, while those who have enough cake to cover the entire moon didn’t actually contribute to it’s making at all
the cake is a lie
Soooo…let them eat cake?
“fuck those poors, i’m entitled to ALL the cake!!!”

This but unironically. A recent How Money Works video explained how big tech laid off a bunch of techs and developers only to find they couldn’t run their businesses anymore and had to hire them back.
Why’d they lay them off in the first place? Pure vindictiveness and resentment. During the Great Resignation the workers got a taste of class consciousness and dared to bargain for higher pay and better benefits and working conditions.
Upper management are so greedy and self involved they can’t even upper-manage right.
I am here for dark humor!
No one enjoy anything ever
That’s not what that quote is about.

Or, you know, just give away as much as everyone else who isn’t rich is giving.
I agree, but only if you mean: at least the same relative amount and giving it to the government so they can decide what to do with it instead of giving it to the people they invited to their birthday party.
Yeah, rich people don’t get loopholes to keep the whole cake.
