    He wasn’t afraid of fucking around in downtown Ottawa for 3 weeks… but the finding out… THAT part he’s afraid of.

    Can we just sentence him to get a university-level education? It will effectively keep him out of society for the rest of his life.

    I hate how we’re just on a few week delay of doing everything the States does. Didn’t Trump and his cronies try the same tactic down South? It utterly failed in their case, and it seems to be failing here, this is the second or third person I’ve seen with the Freedom Convoy bullshit try to move their case out of Ottawa and get denied. I guess when you’re that scared you’re willing to throw all kinds of shit at the wall to see what sticks.

      Having a trial moved out of an area in which you alienated a lot of people, or who are generally against the behaviour you are accused of us not uncommon

      I’m glad they were denied in both cases since they have pockets of support that could derail justice
