30 years go by. Retire. Live in quiet neighborhood. Phone rings. It’s the manager’s voice. Now it’s time to pay the price.

Some people will go very, very far out of their way to be very slightly petty. It’s…the principle.

Is it petty though? Food poisoning sucks ass and unlike most attempts at “sticking it to the man” that just end up hurting the wrong people, it’s incredibly likely that it was actually caused by an employee(s) at that store.

Someone didn’t date something correctly, cooked something improperly or stored something improperly and went “Eh, it’ll be fine”

I shit blood for a week when I got E. Coli from a restaurant. I didn’t begin a years-long campaign of revenge, I just never ate there again.

I feel like when you buy chain fast food that potential food poisoning is part of the deal.

Its cheap because they pay their teenage staff as little as they legally can. You know, detail oriented, fastidious hard working teenagers.

I disagree. I think chain fast food is safer than eating at a random restaurants. These franchises usually have schooling associated with them that ensure the procedures are within regulations. There is so much data available that the logistics side is pretty solid. The cooking process is also so organized and simplified that messing up is harder.

Many regular restaurants and diners hire the same kind of staff as fast food places. But chances of upper management/owners not knowing what they are doing is much higher.

Oh I know, but its cheap as shit and dumbass kids have the excuse they are dumbass kids. If I go to a place where I have to pay real money for the food and get food poisoning, then its not part of the deal. Fuck those guys, dont hire dickheads and charge me $24 because its “gourmet” AND give me food poisoning.

People are dumb about food poisoning. 99% of the time you touched something, didn’t wash hands, and self inoculated.
