So like…a few years back ESPN went and cut a bunch of their top talent to let their B crews take over. This resulted in the awful coverage we get from ESPN today
So now they’re cutting all of them too?

All part of their move toward loud opinion coverage. All trash. Watching SportsCenter used to be interesting and useful and now it’s basically uninteresting garbage.
It’s actually impressive how unwatchable basically all of ESPN’s content is at this point. As you said even sports center isn’t really good anymore. I won’t even turn it on.
We kept being told this was coming so I’m not really surprised except maybe for McShay
Steve Young is a big name to cut too. Or at least, as someone who pretty much ignores ESPN, I’m surprised to see him get cut just because of name value.
Just need to watch the sporting events on ESPN with mute or sync with local radio. Maybe ESPN will save enough money to be able to to broadcast in HDR or 4k this decade. /s
